尋日(星期一)放工回家﹐ 門口貼咗一張DHL嘅delivery notice。 話佢哋係11:10am嚟過但無人係屋企﹐聽日(星期二)會再嚟。 我星期二都係唔會喺屋企﹐咁我咪打去DHL﹐ 問下佢可唔可以星期三先送嚟(我逢星期三work from home嘛)﹔ 又或者唔駛再送﹐我星期二直接去depot攞 (因為我知道個depot係喺我公司附近)。
DHL: Hello, how can I help you?
Me : 我今日收到張delivery notice﹐ 佢話聽日(星期二)會再嚟﹐ 但係我聽日都唔會喺屋企﹐ 可唔可以星期三先送嚟呢? 我嘅waybill number係123456789。
DHL: 等我check下。。。 依家已經6:30pm﹐ 我通知唔到個司機囉喎﹐佢已經放咗工。 我就算依家send message比佢﹐ 都唔可以guarantee佢開車前會睇到個message。
Me : 下??? 咁個司機幾點開工架?
DHL: 6:00am
Me : 咁即係話我早11個鐘頭通知你哋﹐都係改唔到個delivery schedule?
DHL: 係。。。 因為個司機已經放咗工。 開工前佢未必會check message。(重複講多一次之前已經講過嘅說話) 咁個司機聽日都會送多一次去你屋企﹐ 之後就會張個package送去depot。 星期三你就可以pick up。
Me : 咁即係明知我聽日屋企無人﹐ 都係要送多一次?? (我已經開始唔耐煩)
DHL: 係。。。 因為個司機已經放咗工。 開工前佢未必會check message。(重複講第二次之前已經講過嘅說話) 仲有一個option﹐ 你可要係張delivery notice上簽名﹐ 咁個司機就會張個package放係你門口。
Me : 但係張notice寫明如果我簽咗名比個司機張個package放係門口﹐如有任何損毀或唔見﹐ DHL恕不負責喎﹗
DHL: 係﹐ 無錯。
Me : (已經已經非常非常之咁唔耐煩) 咁我當然唔會咁做啦﹗(你當我傻架)
DHL: 係。。。
Me : 咁依家即係我無野可以改到啦??
DHL: 係。。。
Me : 咁bye bye﹗﹗﹗﹗﹗
DHL: Thanks for calling DHL.

到呢一刻﹐我都唔明點解個司機開工前唔check message﹗﹗﹗﹗﹗
I wanted that 10 minutes back﹗﹗ Such a waste of my time﹗﹗﹗﹗

you would think DHL can get a message to the driver faster than delivering a package across the continent..
I don't like those types of calls. Always drives me crazy. It shows the inflexible and inefficient some work systems / processes can be. Of course it is more annoying for a company like DHL which claims efficiency is their strength, to have such inefficient system.
唉。。。 我都唔知點解我每一次打去啲customer service﹐ 我end up都係好嬲好嬲咁收線﹗ 自問都算係一個好脾氣嘅人﹐但係佢哋每一次都有方法令我好"慶"﹗
